Andreas Riechers
born on March 28, 1970, in Lünen, Westphalia.
Clarinet, saxophone, and German flute instruction
Music studies from 1991 to 1996 at the Detmold University School of Music (Hochschule für Musik Detmold).
Tutors: Prof. Fritz Hauser (clarinet), Mijo Bokum (saxophone), Robert Lamb (big band).
Additional classes in mental training with Kjell Fagus (Royal College of Music, Stockholm) from 1992 to 1999.
Graduation with a degree as instrumental teacher in November, 1996.
Active as teacher and as head of department at the Music School Lower Neckar from 1997 to 2003.
Active as private instructor and as teacher at various regional Music Schools since 2000.
Musical director of the Künzelsau Municipal Band since 2005.
Numerous engagements as session musician and soloist in the Baden-Württemberg area e.g. as member of the Heilbronn City Theater Musical Orchestra from 1999 to 2004.
