Daniela Jakubik

Piano, percussion instruments, recorder instruction and music education for young children.

Until 2003 Daniele Jakubik studied rhythmics on her main instrument piano and piano methodology as her minor at the University of Music, Trossingen (Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Trossingen). During her studies she gave piano lessons, taught rhythmics to children and adults and also worked as music educator with young children. She organized original musical and physical theater plays at both private or university level music schools. Daniela Jakubik also organized many other art projects as artist and pedagogue.

Her versatile musical education began already in 1978. She played recorder, guitar, clarinet, conga and took voice lessons. However, she put an emphasis on the piano very early. Daniela sang in various choirs. She took jazz dance and new dance lessons with several instructors. She participated in numerous workshops and extension studies in the fields of dance, voice, theater and design.

Her method of instruction is based on a holistic principle. Here, things such as imagination, creativity, sensation, and movement-especially in the context of a group-play an important role. The experience of the self, the “you”, and the “we” trains the social competence of your child.
