At an age of approximately 6.

A keyboard, a manuscript book, a piano school, a metronome, and a comfortable and body-friendly keyboard seat.
What do I need to bring to my lessons?
The keyboard school and pieces, stationary.
Does the instrument come in different sizes?
There are different sizes and also the number of keys varies. |
What do I have to consider upon purchase?
You should seek the advice of an expert. Since keyboards are practically computers and their sound quality heavily depends on processing power, we do not recommend to buy used instruments. The user interface of the keyboard should be user-friendly and self-explanatory.
In General:
An electronic keyboard (also called digital keyboard, portable keyboard and home keyboard) is an electronic or digital keyboard instrument. It shares many of the same features of other electronic keyboard instruments (e.g., a stage piano, digital piano, professional arranger keyboard, clonewheel organ, or synthesizer), but unlike these instruments, an electronic keyboard tends to be a simpler, less-feature-laden, and less expensive instrument. In return they often feature integrated speakers and rhythms. Most keyboards feature pre-programmed songs or even whole orchestral works in which the player can take over individual parts or simply use as backing tracks. Since the keyboard can reproduce the sound of numerous instruments, the player gains insight into musical correlations and processes. By playing different instruments the player gets to know different functions of music(e.g. Accompaniment, bass, solo, melodies in different positions) This benefits the development of your ear and musicality. The keyboard is the ideal instrument for beginners. |
