Here we focus a little more on the musical orientation of your child with regard to its age and capabilities. While the first course is primarily about the cultivation of basic musical skills, the second course aims at the specific skills, potential, and capabilities of the individual. This differentiation gives us a better perspective on what instrument your child might like to learn. It is also possible that a handful of children who already have together participated in the “Musical Expedition”-Class stay together as group if they happen to chose the same instrument. In addition to saving costs your child has the opportunity to gain self-confidence and experience before starting with the relatively unfamiliar one-to-one lessons.

Course Objective:

Opportunity to get familiar with the characteristics of each instrument
Preparation to the procedure of instrumental lessons
Exploration of personal potential, skills, and capabilities
Exploration of motivational and frustration tolerances as well as endurance with different instruments
Sensitization of the motoric apparatus and the ear
Exploration of personal performance peaks in different instrument groups etc.

Course Syllabus:

Observation of rhythmic and hearing abilities, and handling of the different instruments
String, keyboard, and percussion instruments – development of instrumental skills
Exploration of motivation, practicing behavior, endurance, learning aptitude
Numerous exercises, games, and tests in order to make an optimal instrument recommendation

Instruments are provided and lend for practicing
No canceling required after the contract is expired
Course includes one live performance
At a non recurring surcharge an individual final report is available
