Our story...
...began in September 2004 when principal Thomas Rolke realized the idea of a music school located in Mannheim. He started with two classrooms an eight instructors.
Right from the beginning TonArte pursued new educational concepts and ideas with the goal to enhance and improve already existing educational establishments.
Already back then, lessons for all ages (including over 18), new subjects such as audio editing, and preparatory classes for entrance exam candidates to music colleges and the Pop Academy were a fix part of the educational concept.
Tonarte has been growing ever since and offers, together with currently 24 instructors, the complete spectrum of musical education, including everything from individualized coaching to complete music productions. Five new classrooms with optimized acoustics, our own recording studio, and our reception area allow for relaxed and qualified education.

Our classrooms
Our lessons take place in seven big rooms on a total of 170 m² (203 yd²).
We have enough space for larger groups, presentations, workshops etc.
Here we also teach baby groups, children's groups, crash courses, and other groups with more than three participants.
